The easiest way to sponsor a student if you do not have a Malaysian bank account is to use the Paypal option. You can use your debit or credit card with Paypal, even if you do not have a Paypal account.

How to sponsor with your debit or credit card via the Paypal option?

Easy! Here’s a step-by-step guide.

1. Click Sponsor

Once you are on the page of the student that you wish to support, click the “Sponsor” button.

2. Select Paypal

Then, select “Paypal”, determine how much you want to sponsor and type in your email address (if you are logged in, you do not need to type your email address). Click “Sponsor” to confirm.

Choose Paypal as Payment Method

3. Click Pay with Debit or Credit

You will be redirected to Paypal’s payment page. If you do not have a Paypal account, scroll down and click “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”.

4. Fill up card details

Fill up the requested information. You’ll be asked to create an account as well on the same page. It is free and you will not be charged anything so we recommend you just sign up for it. Having a Paypal account allows you to make purchases in thousands of online stores internationally, It is good to just have it.

Click “Agree and Continue” after filling up the form.

Fill up the fields accordingly and submit!

5. Follow on Screen instructions

From here, just follow the instructions on the screen and after completing payment, you’ll be redirected to Skolafund.com. You should receive an e-receipt in your email together with a note from the student your funded!
